This course provides essential skills and knowledge for a career as a Home Care Aide, whether you're caring for a loved one, starting your own business, or working for an agency. The curriculum aligns with the California Department of Social Services Home Care Aide Registry standards, covering key areas like general health and safety, communication, and assisting clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia. You'll also learn how to support individuals with complex physical needs, including using wheelchairs, providing bed care, and assisting with bathing and wound care. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion to include with your job applications.
