Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)

Classes are held at the Golden Oak Training Center, 21445 Centre Pointe Pkwy, Santa Clarita.
Medical Assistants perform clerical duties in physician offices, urgent care, and other ambulatory settings. This course teaches administrative skills and medical terminology.
Students who complete the course requirements will be eligible to take the National Healthcare Association Medical Administrative Assistant exam. The exam fee is included in the course fee.
There are 2 additional fees associated with the course: students must purchase or rent a textbook, and purchase scrub uniforms in any color or pattern. This information will be provided on the first day of class.
Prerequisite: High School diploma or equivalency.
Completion of class does not guarantee employment.
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Course Fee: $1400
Classes are held at the Golden Oak Training Center, 21445 Centre Pointe Pkwy, Santa Clarita.
Take your Medical Assisting skills to the next level by learning to provide direct patient care in physician offices, urgent care, and other ambulatory settings. This course teaches Emergency Medical Response, clinical skills, (phlebotomy, injections, vital signs, minor surgical procedures, and more) and medical terminology. This class requires 100 hours of clinical externship.
Students who complete the course requirements will be eligible to take the National Healthcare Association Clinical Medical Assistant exam. The exam fee is included in the course fee.
The same textbook is used for CMAA and CCMA. Students are required to wear uniform scrubs in any color or pattern. This information will be provided on the first day of class.
Prerequisite: High School diploma or equivalency and successful completion of Certified Medical Administrative Assistant.
Successful completion of an MA Administrative program at an outside of the school is acceptable. Please contact [email protected] with proof of course completion.
