Special Education Instructional Assistant/SCIA Provider

This course will prepare you for potential employment as a Special Education Instructional Assistant/Special Circumstance Instructional Assistant Provider and include instruction in special education law, IEPs, inclusion, learning styles, behavioral strategies, assistive technology, and more.

Students who complete the program will earn a Certificate of Completion appropriate for inclusion with a job application. 

Prerequisite: high school diploma or equivalency

Course Fee: $10

Class is taught at West Ranch High School.

Class meets once a week for six weeks, excluding holidays.
