Learn English
The Golden Oak Adult School's ESL program is dedicated to helping non-native English speakers improve their language proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Our goal is to equip students with the necessary language skills and independent learning strategies to thrive in their communities.
Before you register for an ESL class, all new students must complete a basic skills assessment. This assessment helps us place you in the appropriate class level. After your assessment, you'll be able to choose your preferred class location and time.

ESL ATTENDANCE POLICY
The Golden Oak Adult School's ESL program expects students to attend every scheduled class. We understand that unavoidable circumstances like work, family emergencies, or illness can sometimes prevent regular attendance. We will consider these factors and work with students to make their return to class as smooth as possible.
Student attendance is monitored bi-weekly. Students who miss two consecutive weeks of ESL sessions will be dropped from the program. If you are dropped, we encourage you to re-register.
Note: This policy may be subject to change based on the evolving needs of the Golden Oak Adult School community.
