Graduation Information

 

Golden Oak Adult School Graduation Ceremony   

 

Date: Friday, May 21, 2027

 Location: Hart High Auditorium, 24825 Newhall Ave, Santa Clarita, 91321

 Graduate Report Time & Mandatory Practice: 4:00 PM sharp

 Guest Seating Begins: 5:30 PM (Doors close at 6:00 PM—no late entry)

 Graduation Ceremony: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

 

Cap & Gown Requirement:

All graduates must wear a cap and gown to participate in the ceremony.  We highly recommend The Graduation Mall (available on Amazon) Graduation Cap, Gown & Tassel Package.  You may choose any color.  If you are borrowing a cap and gown, you will need to purchase the tassel for your cap. Important Ceremony Guidelines:

 

To ensure a smooth and respectful ceremony, please review and share the following guidelines with your guests:

• The ceremony will last approximately one hour (6:00 PM – 7:00 PM).
• Family and friends are welcome. No tickets are required.
• Graduates and guests must remain seated throughout the ceremony.
• Minor guests must be supervised at all times.
• No food or drinks are allowed inside the auditorium.
• Balloons, noisemakers, and confetti are prohibited—please leave these items in your vehicle.
• Guests must remain seated and may not leave their seats to take photographs.
• While recording is allowed, guests must not block others’ views.
• After the event, families will be asked to exit directly to the parking lot.

 

 

 Prepare your gown: Steam it beforehand or iron it on low heat with a towel between the iron and the gown.
 Dress code: Business casual attire is recommended under your gown.
