- This six session workshop will prepare you for potential hire
as a Substitute Bilingual Instructional Assistant within the
William S. Hart Union High School District. - Sessions will include Essential Duties and Responsibilities,
Knowledge and Skills for the In-Class Support of Students,
Understanding the Needs of Non-English Speaking Families,
and Effective Interpersonal Skills. - A Substitute Bilingual Instructional Assistant is an entry-level
position that may lead to future permanent employment
opportunities. - Must be 18 years or older to enroll.
Mandatory Class Sessions:
December 28 and 29 Monday/Tuesday (Virtual Zoom online) 6-8pm.
January 4 and 5, Monday/Tuesday (Virtual Zoom online) 6-8pm.
January 11 and 12, Monday/Tuesday (Virtual Zoom online) 6-8pm.

There is a one-time $35 registration fee. Attendance at all sessions is
required to obtain the Golden Oak Certificate of Completion for this
